When we go to the press a war on Iraq seems only a few days away. If the usual does not happen at the last hour, the inevitable stands at the door. The US in its war making frenzy stands isolated in the world. Spitting fire and venom against one and all, trampling over all democratic norms and international laws, challenging and threatening each and everyone, howling, barking and roaring it is behaving like Fascist Germany and the new Hitler is out on an exterminating campaign to subjugate the world. Bush says he is doing all this to save American lives from the enemies of civilization, from brutes and despots, from terrorists and rogues, from those who have weapons of mass destruction and are an irresponsible lot. And millions of his own countrymen say: NION. Not In Our Name. Tens of millions, crores and crores around the world say No Blood For Oil, No More Deaths For Iraqis, Hands off Iraq! And the UN says: there should be no attack on Iraq unless the world body sanctions it. But to all and everyone the US says an emphatic NO. And to the world body its answer is as ridiculous as can be. It says it will attack Iraq if it does not implement the UN resolution 1441 even without sanction from the UN. The US has given itself the right to decide over what the UN Security Council decides, to speak on its behalf and in its name even if the UN speaks quite the opposite. When the "international community" (i.e., the majority of the club of the rich nations) says that it is against a war on Iraq the US declares that it will launch war to make Iraq to listen to the demands of the international community! In a word, the US administration is the US people, the US imperialists are the world people, and the US alone is the international community.

This is monstrous but this also is the reality, a monstrous reality of our times where the sole super of the world is out to impose and dictate to all and sundry. To China it says: Be contented with the money I offer you; to Russia: Fall in line or you will be shut out of Iraq after the war and lose economically; to France: We don’t forget and forgive; to UN: Change your ways or you will be declared obsolete; to the poor and oppressed countries: Shut up and support or you are in for trouble and your governments will be changed, and; to the people of the world: You are barbarians and brutes while I represent the civilized, the noble. For the US every opponent is evil while it is godly and supreme.

Never has the world seen such an arrogant power on the earth as the US is today. Never has there been a force so great and so devious as there was never so much money and power concentrated at a single point. Jack London’s Iron Heel has been shaping up for almost two hundred years and now it is clanking at the horizon to take on the world. May be, the world will be made to forget Hitler in the coming times and it will be confronting the deadliest of all the regimes. And we will find people talking: Eh, the regime changes in Iran, Korea, Venezuela, Sudan,… er Iraq! What about a system change in the father of all evils er…the US!

The most hated country in the world will find the people answering why they hate America. The people of the world hate America and their number will continue to swell with the launching of a war against Iraq and with every war adventure the US imperialists contemplate. The people of the world don’t hate those who issue and stand by the call NION, who dissociate themselves from the war and other crimes of the US imperialist Klan worldwide, those who come on to the streets in millions to oppose their ruler’s horrendous schemes and cruel acts. The people of the world stand by the American people while they hate the monster Klan that runs the American State. The world will never forget Hiroshima and Nagasaki; it will never forget Philippines and Grenada; Panama and Palestine are ever fresh in their memories. And who will ever forget Vietnam and Korea, and Congo and Columbia? Will Guatemala and Haiti, Nicaragua and Cambodia be ever erased from their memory as long as there is imperialism on this earth? The list is open ended, as the US war against the various peoples in various lands is open ended. When it is War Without An End the hatred against the warlords is also without an end. Hatred did not start with the destruction of the World Trade Center and will not end till the complete destruction of the Empire of Evil. It was present before, it is present now, it will remain after Iraq, or any other, or a number of other countries are destroyed by the US criminals. The oppressed people of the world remember their millions and millions of men, women and children for whose deaths the US is responsible, directly or thro-ugh its despot puppets and stooges. These millions and millions so killed are the martyrs of the people and the people don’t forget their martyrs.

Not only the world people or only the Muslims around the world hate America. Millions of conscious Americans too hate the dirty things the US imperialist rulers stand for. When they say "Toxic Texan", the "Empty Warhead of the White House", the "Mad CowBoy", the "Son of a B…B…Bush", "No Blood For Oil", and call to "Pull Down Bush Not Saddam", "Drop Bush, Not Bombs", and so on, they join millions and millions around the world who hate imperialist America. The people of the world unite together with these real American people against American imperialism. They are comrades in arms, brothers and sisters united for a common cause. NION is a call by the American people to the people of the world that they are not one with their rulers, that they dissociate themselves from the evils and crimes their rulers commit worldwide. Bush has failed to fool Americans. When he says that he acts in the name of the American people, they say, "Not In Our Name." The US rulers stand isolated not only in their own ‘international community’ but also among the American people.

And who are the friends of the American rulers in the dirty ‘war on terrorism’, in this infamous war on the people of Iraq? Foremost is Blair. The man who stands condemned among his own people, the man who is being opposed by his own party men, a man who represents all the evils of British imperialism past and present, the man who is acting as a liaison henchman for the US imperialist clan in Europe and around the world, the man who is interested in paying dirty "blood price" to the butcher big brother. He too stands hated around the world and right in his home. They are accompanied by a sycophant Spanish regime and dumb and fearful Berlussconi of the Italian fascist and mafia brigade, the Australian counterparts who stand isolated in Australia, the slavish Japanese rulers who have no other way than to say "yes" to the US war mongers, and the bunch of third world governors and despots who have lost all self respect due to long years of neo-colonial coaching and mentoring, including our own sickpayees and donvanis, preferring a middle-road of the opportunists or keeping quiet when one among them is being hounded and attacked without any justification. These spineless creatures who rule in the third world pay obeisance now to this and now to that imperialist power. They don’t utter a word against the UN which has become an arena of imperialist machinations against the third world countries. They must remember what fate awaits them. Those who (the UN, the Blixes, the French, Russian and German imperialists and the despicable revisionist Chinese) order Iraq to destroy its weapons of self-defence won’t be available when the US launches its deadly arsenals against Iraq. And less said about the rulers in the Middle East the better. For goodness’ sake the Arab people would be better without them.

And the best friends the US administration and Bush have are the US oil companies, the drug cartels, the military-industrial complex that makes deadly armaments, aero planes, missiles and new generations of bombs. These interests push the US towards war against others and not the so-called terrorism, or concern for democracy or human rights. These interests want war to make super profits in these periods of a long and worldwide recession. After all, war brings in more dividends and profits than peaceful times and when profits in peaceful times are that bad imperialism opts for the way out through war. Never mind the death and destruction of millions in the poor nations which are rich in natural resources.

The godfather of all evils, the United [Imperialist] States of America, is becoming increasingly more desperate due to the growing all round opposition around the world and in his own belly. But the imperialists are not insane in the least. They are propelled to the nether world due to imperialism’s rapacious character, its lust for super super profits, its parasitic nature to live off others’ resources, to push on its own economic crisis over the shoulders of others and rivals. The bullying, the oppression, the war is inherent in this monster. These are characteristics that are inherent to its existence, the very basis of its being, and also, the basis for its complete destruction.

The US imperialists are not only on the prowl in various regions of the world they are also pouncing upon the American people, their democratic rights, the individual’s rights to privacy, right to move freely. Time and again the people are asked to tolerate these fascistic measures, to abide by these or face the wrath of the State. McCarthy days are again coming back; every opponent is being branded a collaborator of the enemy, though not a communist. "Whosoever is not with us is against us" is also being implemented within the US borders. Then, Hitler could not have launched his war against the whole world without first imposing fascism over the people within Germany. And lo and behold! The warlord of the world has asked 60 countries of the world to implement its dictates. The secret police of the US, the FBI, is conducting raids and making arrests in various countries without impunity. Bush intends to turn the world into his Baap Ki Jagir, into his private ranch. The man is out to turn various countries into US’ reserved pastures, into its neo colonies. Why he and his clan will not earn the hatred of the people of the world then? He is not only going to kill, maim and uproot millions but is also preparing to turn American soldiers into body bags. This will further inflame the opposition to his criminal ambitions. Imperialism has brought and can only bring tragedies for the people around the world. The people of the world have to put an end to these massive human tragedies.

The unjust US war on Iraq, which probably will also be accompanied by a massive Zionist attack on the Palestinian people, is going to be opposed throughout the world. Here peacefully, there tooth and nail. Here through demonstrations and street clashes, there through boycotting the American and British goods and by hitting at various US installations and interests. May be, the people will get an opportunity to turn against the despots who are continuing in power with the US support. That will be the best thing when and where it happens. The dockworkers in Britain have already refused to load military hardware on warships meant for the Gulf. The people of the world stand in solidarity with the people of Iraq. Let the US monsters be given a befitting reply for crimes against humanity. Hague Court will not punish the US butchers for their war crimes. It is the people’s resistance and militant fight against the unjust war that will teach the US imperialists a lesson.
