Against the historic
necessity of forwarding political solution of Nepalese society, the feudal
murderers are abortively trying to rule the country through medieval jungle rule
perpetuating series of cowardice killing of Nepalese great sons and daughters
with the backing of foreign imperialist and expansionist forces. In the name of
so-called emergency the execution of killing, terrorizing and arsoning of most
devilish sadistic nature and dramatic political conspiracy played by the royal
army throughout the country is going to not only make a mockery of the
achievements of 1990 year’s historical people’s movement, but is also making
mockery of all the values of human civilization. Today, it has become like a
daily chore for the feudal palace to kill daily every Nepalese people such as
political activists, writers, poets, cultural activists, journalists including
those individuals who hold their conscience and independent views, all of who
are committed wholeheartedly for the liberation and progress of this country and
its people. The latest victim in this series of cowardice murdering has been our
Party Central Committee member and a popular youth leader, Com. Rit Bahadur
Khadka, who has been brutally murdered. Together with this, the fate of Com.
Krishna Sen, under government custody, has now become almost clear by the
dramatic and conspiratorial expressions of this government pressured on them by
the Nepalese journalists, human rights activists and intellectual community in
regards to revelation of the news that was leaked out that he was tortured and
killed inside police custody. Com. Krishna Sen was our Party’s responsible
member and was also a militant and well established poet belonging to Nepalese
progressive movement and a well-known journalist as well. In this regard we give
our full-fledged support and solidarity to the initiative and the movement
headed by the journalists, human right activists and the intellectual community
in regards to their demand to reveal the true state of Com. Krishna Sen and to
punish the concerned culprit. Our Party pays homage to Com. Rit Bahadur Khadka,
Krishna Sen and other immortal martyrs with high respect and we pledge to avenge
their death. Today the Nepalese society is amidst the cross-juncture between
progression and regression. The feudal elements are closing all the doors to
peaceful political solution and are nakedly demonstrating national betrayal by
surrendering before the foreigners in other to get their help in killing
Nepalese people. Under such a circumstance, there is no other alternative before
the Nepalese people, other than creating a wide resistant movement so as to save
nation’s freedom and its sovereignty and to protect the right of livelihood of
us and our daughters and sons. Before the people’s solidarity movement, these
national betrayals and feudal murderers, can never be saved by any powers in
this world.
Hence our Party has
taken decision to make appeal to all people to observe September 16th as "Nepal
Bandh" (countrywide strike) to protest against the killing of our Party’s Com.
Rit Bahadur Khadka, Krishna Sen and daughters and sons of Nepalese people and to
demand positive outlet to the present crises. The concrete schedule for this
programme will be declared by different nationality and regional fronts headed
by our Party and the central level of United Front, the United Revolutionary
People’s Council. Our Party makes a humble appeal to all the progressive forces
and people of the country to make Nepal Bandh programme a great success so as to
raise the people’s resistance movement against feudal murderers and people’s
solidarity to the higher level.
